What is a URL slug?
It is the readable part of a web address that identifies a page, for example "merge-pdf" in ilovemyfile.com/merge-pdf.
What does the generator change?
It lowercases the text, removes accents and symbols, turns & into "and", and joins the words with hyphens.
Why was a line left empty?
Slugs use only a–z and 0–9. A title written entirely in another script, such as Japanese or Arabic, has nothing that can be kept.
