Does this verify the signature?
No. It only decodes the token so you can read it. A decoded token is not proof that the token is genuine.
Is it safe to paste a real token?
The token is decoded in your browser and is not sent anywhere. Still, treat live tokens like passwords and avoid sharing them.
Can it decode encrypted tokens (JWE)?
No. Only standard signed tokens with three parts (header.payload.signature) can be decoded.
