What to expect
Every sheet that contains data becomes a table in the PDF, starting on a new page, with the values shown the way Excel shows them — dates, currency and percentages keep their format. Pages are landscape so wide tables fit better. Cell colours, fonts, column widths, charts and images are not carried over; you get clean, readable tables of your data.
Frequently asked questions
My table is too wide for the page.
In the save window, lower the scale, or choose a larger paper size such as A3. Landscape is already selected by default.
Are formulas kept?
The PDF shows the results of your formulas, as you see them in Excel. The formulas themselves are not part of a PDF.
Are charts and images included?
No. Only the cell data is converted.
Can I convert a CSV file?
Yes. CSV files are converted the same way as Excel files.
Why does a print window open?
The PDF is made by your browser's built-in PDF engine, which gives sharp, selectable text in every language. Choosing "Save as PDF" in that window saves the file instead of printing it. You can also set the paper size, margins and orientation there.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Your file is converted in your browser and never leaves your device.
