How this summarizer works

It does not use AI, and your PDF is not sent anywhere. It reads the text of the document, finds the words that matter most, scores every sentence by how many of them it carries, and keeps the highest-scoring sentences in their original order. Because every sentence is taken word for word from the PDF, the summary cannot add facts or get them wrong. The trade-off is that it selects rather than rewrites, so it reads like highlights, not like a new paragraph.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of PDF works best?

Reports, articles, papers and contracts — documents made of full sentences. Slides, forms and tables do not summarize well.

Can it summarize a scanned PDF?

Not directly, because a scan has no text. Run it through OCR PDF first.

Is there a page limit?

No fixed limit. Long documents take a few seconds longer to read.

Can I ask it questions about the PDF?

No. This tool picks key sentences only; it cannot answer questions.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Your PDF is processed in your browser and never leaves your device.
